Wow...that is one of the highest .....who did he lease with?

to set a couple rumors to rest or at least give more info. CHK drilled 5 laterals from 3 pads, then pulled their equip out and headed back north. They appear to be fracking 2 laterals at this time and plan to frack the remaining very soon.  Drilling behind the general store in Old Washington would require someone to be getting some leasing done very quickly.  My son lives directly behind the general store and there is no lease. I know several people in O.W. and they have not yet been leased. But to be fair they may be drilling to the south at a point south of these properties.

General store ,as in feed mill.

Bob,

Any idea who these companys are that are making offers like $13400/acre for mineral rights?

nope, but heard #14,000.  and now $15,000.  gotta be in a place where it"s proven to be good production AND soon to be drilled!

I think these are investors that are "buying" not leasing, so they give you a lump and make a massive profit when the acres are drilled. People who are without heirs, or desperate for cash would be they're target prospects. So, $13,400 an acre is a steal when you consider what an acre might yield over a short period of time.... I've had numerous offers from these guys, several different L.L.C.s from all over. Like I say they are looking to buy not lease, all or a portion of your mineral rights. So unless you are desperate for cash and have no heirs, or terminally ill don't sell em......

I would like to know who some of these companys are that are paying in the vicinity of $13000. I might be interested in selling  a portion at that price despite the opinion of the majority seems to be, don't even think about it. Can you tell me who some of these people are Lance?

Flat Iron Minerals? is one of em, I think they are out of Texas... Try google them, I throw them away as fast as they come in. I can't think of any of the other ones.. Hope this helps ya

Thank you Lance.

Anything news or rumors of what is about to happen in Londonderry Township?  Thanks!!

Heard from a guy who lives near there that Gulfport is getting ready to send multiple rigs into Londonderry/Madison twps. Bound to happen sooner than later. they've had pads built there for over a year.pipelines are in. they can complete em and put em into  production right right away

Hope Gulfport has good results as I am leased with them.  Sounds good keep us posted is their any talk as well about the  head of Chesp. new company doing any thing there just curious.
