Posting this discussion for people to update info on the new CNX Beachy well. Does anyone know how many wells will be on this pad?

I heard today this well was shut in back in September of last year. Heard they are wanting to put in some pipeline for the gas and that is why the well has been shut in. Dont know why it was recently reported as producing by the ODNR though last week. I seen some royalty production numbers from last year and this well is not producing very good.

I also heard today that Consol Energy is not going to drill any new wells in Tusc. county for a couple of years. Seems they are going to focus on Noble county again..

I heard that this well is going to be plugged.Any truth to that.

Who did you hear this from ljimi? I heard the well is shut-in waiting on a pipeline hookup to a sales line.

A friend of mine who lives around there was talking to an Amish guy and he said they have hauled all the water from the holding pond and the well was no good and they are going to plug it. I find it hard to believe that they will give up so easily after they have spent Millions. We have to wait and see what happens this summer.

Yes they hauled the water out of the holding pond to other drill sites. I know people in the unit got paid royalties for June, July, and August flowback production from last year. No gas or condensate was reported or sold from the well because there is no pipeline hookup. The well was then shut in back in September and has not produced since august 2013. There is a big difference between a well being shut-in versus being plugged and abandoned.

Consol now has agreements in place with blue racer midstream to build gathering lines to their wells. Just have to wait and see when blue racer decides to come and put in the pipeline for sales. I am thinking sometime this spring the pipe will be laid to it.

Were they happy with the royalties ? Why can they go in the Troyer well pipeline?

From what I seen the Beachy well did close to 1,800 barrels of oil for June. July, and August.. The problem is I do not know exactly how many days the well produced to get the 1,800 barrel number..

I do not know which sales pipeline the Troyer well was hooked into. It was probably hooked into an older line in the area, because I dont think they ran any new pipeline at that well?

TM  The troyer well had a line installed north west of the well to pleasent valley road and is hooked up to a broad steet line

I had heard it was hooked into a broad street line but was not entirely sure. Thanks for the clarification.

I too have heard dismal results for both Beachy and Troyer.  My CNX contact told me last spring, "We're not sure what we're doing with Tuscarawas Co yet.  If we do any more drilling it'll be at least another 2-3 years."  I took that to mean, they're going to leave it up to someone else to figure out the right techniques to prove this area--if anyone truly can.  It seems the oil's there, just people need to figure out how to get it out of the ground.  There's a lot of smart people working on it, I'm sure. I'm just figuring it's probably not CONSOL.

I heard today that this well is more than likely going to be plugged. The well must be a complete dud in other words. Must not be economic enough to put into production. So far it is not looking too optimistic for western Tusc county. Seems like the only place they want to drill is in the southeastern corner of the county.

TM, don't sweat it. If I remember that well was drilled 2 years ago????. If drilled today the results most likely would be different. It's sucks for the landowner, but 2 years from now a well next door might be a boomer.
