Lot of same guys as Adameck #1.  Think they will conduct the deal in such a way that they won't be able to start operating the wells, like Adameck #1?  (Or is that well now on line?)  Best wishes to those who agree to be contractors on these wells.

The owner of Adameck#1 wel, Indepth Exploration, is not involved in Adameck#2,3,4,,5,

I have not heard about any problems with reports to DEP about non-payment problems for contractors and the owner of the property seems to have allowed SLC Energy to drill more wells.  EmKey Energy and Nucomer Energy who hold our lease has had discussions with SLC Energy and I get the impression they seem comfortable with group.  We are just landowners and do not get to decide who drills a well but we are watching things closely.  The results of the production of the wells will determine what is going to happen in that area.  Time will tell.  I am just the messenger and will make decisions on what is being done and not what is being said

and I am not recommending anyone or anything.  We want our property drilled in a professional, safe manner that protects the environment and we get paid what we agreed to get paid in our lease.  I believe that Erie County with the Bayfront Plan proceeding nicely and the Erie Port expansion that will help move industry products to larger east coast markets and gas distribution line being expanded that the future economic benefit to Erie County could be huge.  We are in the beginning of exploration of the Utica and Upper Devonian, TBR and other geological strata, that as technology improves new ground could be uncovered but only time will tell, in the meantime their action will speak louder than their words.

Just go notice of a "default letter" that would invalidate the permit unless corrected.  How common is this?

Looks like "deficiency letter" has been satisfied?  Waiting for the actual permit to be issued!

Their web site www.slcenergy.com under projects, list sTechno 1-5 without a label and Techno#6 and #7 as horizontal.  Ademack#2,#3 without label

and Adameck#4,5 horizontal.

Coastal Petroleum has a history of shallower wells, Adameck#1 was 7,200' approx and was non-conventional.

I understand they now can go horizontal in the Upper Devonian, which is not very deep.  This is confusing to a landowner who is not in the business.  Maybe you guys in the business can shed some light.

I was under the impression that the "permit" would state if it was conventional or non-conventional and the compliance was totally different depending upon the status.

Jim, there is Utica under Erie County but they say not much if any Marcellus.  The Utica is below the Marcellus and the Marcellus, to date, has be so prolific and the infrastructure is mature and they also have the option of going deeper to tap the Utica.  Fracking can be done both vertical and horizontal but since the thickness of the

strata which produces the gas on a vertical well it is more productive to go horizontal which can go a mile and more verses 150' to 300' (est) which is the reason it is cost effective to now

drill at these depths. As I understand it, the Upper Devonian is also a productive area in Erie County and it is above the Utica

and a more permeable strata which can be drilled horizontal

with a lot less chemicals in areas that are not very thick

(50' or less).  Technology is changing fast and these areas will become more and more productive.

Gary, refer to my previous comment to Jim.  The permit does not say except under Authorization: FACILITY.

Indepth Exploration the owner of Adameck#1 well is a Houston, Texas oil driller.  The driller, Ron Coleman, Utica Resources was engaged to drill that well.  Indepth Exploration has not yet gone forward with flow testing or fracking that well and Coleman joined with SLC Energy and has gone forward with leasing around 2,000 more acres and now moving forward with new wells.
