Has anyone got a handle on what is going on with Great River?
They are without a doubt the most disorganized operation on the planet.
Many leases were signed in Belmont County but most are way beyond the bonus time frame outlined in the lease or the order of payment.

I guess all I can say if there are good numbers out of wells drilled these next few years maybe the price will go up per bonus. But this Great River Energy seems to be a dead beat shell company maybe cherry picking. If they force pool i would think they have to make the deal as good or better as what other people in the group received.
Special deal . Same deal Paloma offered me except they are legit but doesn't make sense since they sell it right to AEP anyway. Strange
The 5-member panel unanimously approved entering into agreement with Great River Energy, LLC, for its 18-plus acres of land at $7,000 per acre. The lease was negotiated by the Eastern Ohio Utica Group

Great River it was $6800 acre. No companies out there interested in leasing anymore.
Well, hold on to your hats - Great River just paid one of my friends. I am shocked. So Adam, you might be in luck after all.
well that's good to hear. How many acres did he have.???
doesn't give me hope. they might be cherry picking the bigger the lots. I'd feel better if I found out they paid on the smaller stuff. they were taking anything even tiny city lots.
Just paid me although not sure I can going to keep check as I have been offered more by Gulfport.
Good luck with that. You better have a Gulfport contract with a date prior to the contract you signed with them.
Not much luck needed, contract is very clear. 150 days for non payment. Notification given @ 150 days with 30 days having passed with non payment. They are outside of all their windows of opportunity.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
