I agree Bo, the numbers just dont seem to add up to anywhere near the ballpark they should be. Why in the world would mineral buyers be willing to pay almost 20k and acre. Just doesnt add up.
Thats because there just fliping them to,the drillers. I can not believe all the miss informed people ,are on this site . find out who your midsteam companys are they will bill you more in well enhancement fees sell your gas/oil @ a low price to there own company then resell back to them self with gouging the heck out of you. There's even a blog on here who states that Aubrey is the next best thing to ice cream. I think he is going to put a statue in the middle of town of him . Can't you see what's happening across you state and mine.I am all for drilling but what's the sence of it all when you don't get paid what you are owed!! I am not talking about all the drillers they no who they are . Cj
Since this is the rumors thread, I just heard one today that I liked.
I have no way to verify the information myself and have only heard it via 4th party word of mouth. My neighbor drives some Amish folks around as his "day job". The one Amish fellow was telling him he know's one of the people who have a small stake in the Rex Anderson wells. Something like 2 acres or so in it. He told my neighbor they have been getting about $2000.00/acre or a little more as their royalty checks for the last few months. Not too shabby, and this is more in line with what the production numbers are showing for those wells. I have no idea of the % they are getting or if they have deductions or not. But that's pretty good news.
Now thats more like it.............................!
Yeah, if it's accurate.... I'd like to think it is... I heard these wells would pay 500 to a thousand bucks an acre..... Most of the checks have been far less from what I've gathered on this site.... Maybe somethings fishy somewhere with these numbers....
I thought that all of the J.Anderson acreage is owned by Capstone Holdings?
All of that land is capstone holding company Philip. Who said it isn't ?
Tom was just saying that he heard 4th hand that someone had 2 acres in the pool.
No, it is NOT all capstone land. There are 2 or 3 very small parcels in it at the north end of the legs right at Greenlawn Road that are privately owned. Apparently nobody ever bothered to look at the platmaps for the wells. Download the PDF and see for yourself.
Thanks Tom

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
