I encountered Precision Geophysical lines and thumper trucks on a straight line along TR231/CR10 from SR651, west of Baltic, to about 2 miles south of Chilli this afternoon. A second run of sysmic cables was strewn along CR190 from Chilli to where CR190 terminates above the agricultural station on SR621. It was less than two years ago that the same company performed similar sysmic work along SR93 from Plainfield to Baltic. I asked some of the workers if they knew what company had contracted the work, but they did not know. What is the attraction in that area?
