Is this a new well?  If I read this correctly this is my neighbors land on Putney Ridge.  Only 149 acres seems very small for a well.

My guess is that they will add more acreage to it.

Sometimes these companies list just the drilling unit which is around 150 acres on average. When they do another lateral they add more to it. Is this a new permit Philip or is this for the j hall pad I can't quite figure out the exact spot it's in by the map but it's gotta be close to the j hall

It is north of J.Hall.  The permit was issued on 5/9/2014.  We should check it out on Saturday.

Eclipse has filed an application for unitization with ODNR for the Wells Collins Unit - 534 acres. Public hearing is on June 12, 2014.  Also, there's a public notice about the Hayes to Pora pipleline - something about the pipeline's potential to affect properties that may be considered historic. 

 

Evan - do you know what would be considered historic along the route of the pipeline?  Do you know who the holdout is on the Collins unit?
