Permalink Reply by bo boboski on June 4, 2014 at 8:14am Seen AEP has a pad done/ready to go by just east of Antrim on rt. 22. Heard Carrizo will be moving rig into the Brown well on Sligo rd. near Birmingham this week, Seen AEP has some mobile offices set up on their regional office building site behind Fed-Ex building across from the airport. Looks like at least 20 people working out of there.paved a road into it. Lots of CUDD trucks running around, have they finished fracking the cubbison rd. wells for EQT?
Permalink Reply by Mike Fulper on June 4, 2014 at 9:08am CUDD will be on Cubbison rd for about 2 weeks yet....
I asked em to DOUBLE UP on the Fracking stages :)
Permalink Reply by bo boboski on June 4, 2014 at 9:26am Yea, Mike. seen where Rice now has the best producing well in the state. 40 stages. maybe that's the secret formula?
Permalink Reply by Mike Fulper on June 4, 2014 at 10:04am From what info I can gather...
The Fracking stages are normally 100 feet apart....
When they blow the charges and Frack the shale....
The fissures go in ALL DIRECTIONS about 50 feet....
so....at 100 feet between stages.. they hope to INTERCONNECT
the stages...
I STILL think.... close it in...... maybe 75 feet in between...
No one will tell exactly what the are doing for CONFIDENTIALLY reasons....
But they are EXPERIMENTING on these 3 on our wells...
The OFFICIALS are under a lot of "pressure".. pardon the pun... to get MORE
Production out of our site....or its curtains im afraid...
They WILL do Dobeck later... but at this point..... that's it.. for awhile.. on drilling...
More lights over here at nite then Cambridge...:)
Deer like the fracking... they stand at the edge of the woods and watch...
I do know there will be around 150 stages on these 3 laterals.. but that still computes
to about 100 foot stages....:(
Permalink Reply by lance on June 5, 2014 at 12:09am Hey Bo, what township is that best well in the state? And what or who is CUDD?
Permalink Reply by bo boboski on June 5, 2014 at 2:02pm That's the bigfoot well in Belmont county. Bout all Gas. but lots of it. Rice Energy. CUDD is the frack team from Texas up here trying to show EQT how it's done. Someone needs to show them how to get that OIL out of the Utica. We're all watching!
Permalink Reply by lance on June 6, 2014 at 12:51am How are the wells in Guernsey county producing? Any news about that? Glad they have a team up here that knows what theyre doin.... Frack baby frack!
Permalink Reply by Mike Fulper on June 6, 2014 at 2:14am Normally the fracking is rather quiet....hardly any noise...
.We are about 2000 feet from site...
but a couple nites ago it got so loud
it sounded like a 4 engine bomber setting on top of the house..
This lasted about 2 hours....
Im GUESSING....
that when all the stages are done..
they do a MONSTOR PRESSURE LOADING ?
OF THE WHOLE LATERAL ?
Now its back to normal...rather quiet... must be on 2nd lateral....
Permalink Reply by Mike Fulper on June 6, 2014 at 2:16am Im also guessing the LONGER the lateral
is HELD UNDER PRESSURE....
The MORE fissures... WILL OCCUR.... ie ... more oil....and gas ?

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
