Lease of rights

I live in an area where most land owners our small like me and my 10 acres.   Most everyone near me has signed and recieved payment.   What would happen if they drilled close to me ( within 1/4 mile) without signing me?   Gossip has it that they are planning to drill that close to my 10 acres.

They will contact you or whoever owns the mineral rights if your going to be included in a unit

for 2 yrs Antero held the rights fraudulently until we recently figured it out and ended up having to call their head quarters in Colorado to have them release them at the court level so most already figure we are leased.
