My well Michael McNicolas is in springhill township. Just found out Thurs. CHK and Statoil sold it to Rice Energy. And heard from grapevine they will be drilling on it. Any of you all JOE C, JOE L,RMC know anything on this one? Thanks
Donna,
One thing you should know about Rice whatever they decide to name the well they will be drilling, it will not be under the Michael McNicolas name.
For the first seven months they have named their wells.
Big Daddy Shaw
Captain Planet
Jacobs
Mad Dog 2020
Pollock
Whipkey
and X-Man
Of those wells only the Jacobs and Whipkey have been permitted in Greene County. Both of these are in Gray \ Wind Ridge

And Wind Ridge is not all that far from my well. Thanks

Permalink Reply by Dudley rainey on November 11, 2014 at 3:20am Just a quick thought. Brand new well going in on Walker site. Supposed to be experimental,.... ie, utica well possibly. Also, 12 new wells going in in same area, 1 or 2 will be experimental...ie utica.

Permalink Reply by Dudley rainey on December 16, 2014 at 5:27am It is my understanding that a new well at the Walker site could be a utica well, also, one of the 12 wells at the Koloski site is supposed to be an experimental utica well.

But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
