Our property is in Lee Twp, so just a bit south of you. We recently leased with Eclipse resources. Don't know if they have any holdings your township though. We worked through an attorney, which is who contacted them initially and got us a better offer than we had been offered through Northwood.

Yes we are leased with Eclipse as well. Do you know if you are in a unit scheduled for drilling? We were told Q4 of 2015

We just received the bonus a short time ago but have not received any other papers or information regarding the unit or drilling timeline yet.

The Vaness unit of Eclipse is scheduled for June-July of 2015.That includes the family farm which is along 255 in Lee township about 3mi north of Stalders.Don't know if that helps.

Just looking at the ODNR Oil & Gas well viewer map, searched for Vaness and only see one (not abandoned) up in Switzerland Twp it appears, nothing of their name that I see along 255 unless it's not been updated. There is an Eclipse well, Herrick, about 2 miles due south of our property.  OK. Just searched some more before finishing this post. I was clicking around on properties (not the marked wells) to see owner names. Just happened to click one that borders us partially to the south, Vanoss is the name. Slightly different. We're both just off 255 a short ways. Perhaps this is the one you're referring to? If so, it would be a pretty good assumption we would be included in that unit.

Your right Jason its Vanoss,I can't read my own writing. If you are south,you must be near Brakes or Heaener's property.

Jerry, where did you find or hear that information if you don't mind? I'm trying to search the ODNR O&G Database for Eclipse wells or permits in Lee Twp or Monroe County in general. I see the Herrick, Tippens, Sawyer but no Vaness/Vanoss.  Is this just word of mouth at this time but not been permitted?

And it's the first time I've used that database, not the most user friendly; so I certainly could be missing what I'm looking for.

Not that it matters too much at this time, but you've raised my curiosity.

Jason I did not use any database I just called Eclipse,their number is online under the subtitle Mineral and Landowner services. The office I called was in PA. I talked to their people to get the rig info,but as in all these things its only a schedule. one thing is that I had to wait a day to be called back but they were glad to talk.I would guess that one factor is how close the pipelines are to being done as well as rig availability.

One thing Jason,My mother was contacted by people wanting to do seismic testing on the farms,this may be Eclipse beginning to search for a unit well site,I did not get to speak with them but they could be contacting you if you are in the Vanoss unit.
