Great idea for a post.  Here's my contribution;

http://www.americanpress.com/The-eight-petrochemical-companies-fuel...        $50 billion in petrochem plants just in Louisiana.  Doesn't count pipelines and upstream facilities or all the related housing and commercial support construction.

http://www.statejournal.com/story/25706926/shell-chemical-moves-for...    Had to show a local build.  $5-7 Billion dollar project.  500 perm jobs. Plus related plants that will build nearby.
