Another year is upon us and we are all starving for information pertaining to the "gas biz" in our county.
Hilcorp appears to be poised for an extremely busy year.
Shell seems to be dragging it's feet for some reason , even though the Cracker appears likely to become a reality.
Hopefully more infrastructure projects will become known as the year unfolds.
Please share any news with us you may uncover over the course of the year.
Good luck to us all and may 2014 be the year that puts us on the map!

Great information guys. Thanks for sharing.
Last one I heard from Rex in Little Beaver/North Beaver this week was a 10 year at $2500 or a 5 year for $1500. (anyone think through the rational of those two offers?) Royalty with deductions 14-15%. Told by landman there was no discussion on deductions.
I too would like to know is Rex has a pulse.
It looks like Rex is out of the game. Looking at the Registar & Recorder site. I was with the Mt. Jackson group and on 9/11 we signed with Hilcorp, on 4/13 the lease went to Shell/Swepi, then on 09/14 it went to Rex. Now it looks like on 10/01/2014 it went back to Hilcorp. along with a lot of others.
James where are you located? It could be that Hilcorp swapped for your lease to complete a unit. Maybe this is a sign you will be in a unit and drilled soon. There will be a lot of slicing and dicing between these two as they define specific units.
Trapper, first I heard of a new Rex pad. Good news as it shows that Rex ain't waitin around.
the pipe line is planed headed east from route 18 threw the gun club and under the river to the power plant. this is suppose to take place around june. the club is suppose to be shut down for two months while this is going on.
i believe its going just north of rt 168 and rt 18 and headed to the power plant just north of the skeet fields. we will know more here just after the first of the year.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
