I have been hearing of companys offering $12000, $13000 even $15000/ acre to buy mineral rights. So far I haven't been able to find out who is making these offers. If you've received an offer in this range could you please tell me who made it? Thanks.

Dorado Petroleum is paying what Bounty and Flatiron were paying before they left the Utica. Its all situational though. 

Bounty is still active in the Utica.  They were closing deals in Belmont in December.

no money left. almost done. 

Westhawk is done too. 

That is my understanding as well.

I see the bounty stuff you're talking about. I'm honestly surprised. I havent talked to any broker or landowner that has heard from Bounty since mid 2014.

Westhawk was buying for GPOR.

Flatiron backed out of a deal with me and several other Guernsey county landowners last February.  They said that one of their big investors back out.  I guess saw the bubble getting ready to pop. 

At what royalty rate would these companies be paying $150 per acre per day.  I have 28 in Harrison County, OH.

What is going on in Harrison County, Ohio?  It seems they are putting up well pads all around my property.  I am hoping they start to drill soon.  I have been offered 4k, 5k, and $6K an acre to buyout my minerals rights.  If I could get $15K- 20K per acres I would be tempted, but after speaking with my attorney he said they would make that money back in about 6 months.  If I hold out he said it would bring in huge amounts for at least 50 years.

Living in Florida now, and can't seem to get much information.

That sounds like 45 years longer than reality.  The "huge amounts" are all front-loaded.  After that it's like owning a nice annuity, which I suppose is reason enough not to sell.
