Since the Millwood Township discussion is very useful, maybe one on Wills/Oxford Townships will be as well. Any news, observations, or information to share from these areas? A quick search of the ODNR County Engineer's website shows 13 horizontal wells in these two townships were permitted in the last 12 months, so lots of activity around here. Anyone know if Fineran is still on hold by ODOT? Wonder what will happen if this stays in limbo.
I have noticed trucks seem to have slowed down a little by my place. A few months ago most looked like they were careening out of control as they tried to take the turns. Maybe the county is clamping down. Anyone else notice a change for the better?
Anyone heard plans in our area to slow down development or production because of the drop in oil and natural gas prices?

Hope not... What wells are u talking about Yost ,Scott,Fineran if so am out ?..am in millwood twp .the truck's are still going to the gathering station. .
They probably will slow down on drilling in our area.....but leaving .....I don't think so. Most of them are slowing down on the drilling until the prices comes back up, just hope that most people don't get drilled for awhile. Your royalties would probably be cut in half right now. So I think most companies will probably slow down for now....finish the ones they have going and continue with gathering lines..
The well at Scott's moved the drilling rig down to Fineran's yesterday.
Thanks could you let me know if they do the Yost ?
OK thanks my luck ....Maybe soon..
Any idea what their plans are as far as fracking and putting these wells into production? Or do you think will they just sit on them until prices come back up?
A lot of actively going on at the Scott well. Equipment moving in today at their second pad.
Was it on the Scott pad or the yost pad

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
