I was out doing some rubbernecking a couple weeks ago in Grays Run.  This rig is up on the Brown Road.  The security officer said it was the 3rd biggest rig in the country.  She thought they planned to drill all winter and wouldn't even get to fracking till next year.

Chris, I doubt if they will frac until they can hook to a pipeline; e.g. a cash flow issue.  The big rig may have other implications - either it was all that was available or... they may be doing exploratory deeper to the Utica or some other deeper formation.  Normally, they do not need very big rigs to drill the Marcellus.

That is Ensign #160. I helped push pull and drag that sucker up into Brown Rd from Hagerman. Brand new rig at the time. Was heavy haul winch truck driver for Hemphill Speedy (later TForce Energy) at the time.

Hope this works....photo of rigging up Ensign 160

Neat!  You guys working with Inflection?  They're the only company doing anything around my place (Hepburn/Loyalsock Townships).  I attended their meeting at the Hepburn Twp VFC recently but they said they laid the rig down till demand/prices go up.
