That seems odd. Do you have a net, gross or a market enhancement clause in your lease?
Where there post production costs deducted from either?
What was the gross price that each firm received - the issue may lie with CHK having firm capacity on a pipeline and therefore being able to get prices outside the basin where as Statoil may not.
Permalink Reply by bobt on April 29, 2015 at 7:48am normally chk and statoil have been a few cents apart on price per mcf and yes we have deductions. this is the first check that they have been so far apart chk deductions amounted to about 25 percent of the check and statoil amounted to about 50 percent,. our well is in terry township, bradford county pa.
