Any current activity in Elk?

It seems as though I have gone from receiving semi-regular calls on my small tract to me wondering if I paid my phone bill.  Is anyone getting actively pursued at the moment?  If so, who is currently knocking on doors and more importantly, who is actively paying?  I am guessing I will likely have to wait until the next wave when gas prices pick up a bit.

That's interesting info, deer spotter. I hope it doesn't come to that, but is good to know. I can understand people being cautious about their water. It's just that the concern should be based on some actual facts. And what does the watershed have to do with a township wide moratorium, much of which lies outside the watershed? I just don't understand that part. Good luck to you too.

I see in the local paper Jay twp is still pushing for an ordinance to ban drilling around the weedville watershed. The article was vague, but said the ordinance would cover much of Jay twp, not just the watershed. Does anybody know just how much area this would cover?

Would it cover Fox Township too?

As far as I know, it is only Jay twp.
