Lease Group Formation

There is a group under formation in Clarion County which is using the former list of landowners assembled by the Fryburg Landowners Group.  This group is Troese - Fryburg Group 2.

Landowners, O&G rights owners who were unable to get in on the initial group which successfully negotiated a lease with Stone Energy Corp may have a second opportunity.

Although Stone Energy is not interested in a second round at this time, the group coordinators have been in contact with companies who do want to bid on next group’s holdings.

The former lease negotiated with Stone Energy is being used as a model.  The group has assembled in excess of 20,000 acres at the present time and they want to send out the list for bid within the next couple of weeks.

This may be an opportunity for Jefferson County landowners/O&G rights holders whose property borders the Clarion County line.   If interested in joining the group email Township, Map # & acreage to henry@troeseassoc.com ASAP.

Could you please provide some more information re: new land group?  Are your properties in Clarion county only or do you have some Jefferson county properties?  Do you have any properties near border of Clarion and Jefferson? If the former lease with Stone Energy is used as a model, do you have information on the anticipated bonus monies, royalties, property protections, organization or development fees, and rights to opt out? Are you planning any meetings to address these types of questions? Thank you for any information that would be helpful as a land/ mineral rights owner.

No i have properties in Clarion, Forest, Venango and Jefferson as of now but mostly in Clarion County.

The first group signed for $3526 an acre and 17% royalty and we hope to match or better those amounts.

We hope to have a meeting in a few weeks after i sit down with first gas conpany and see what they offer.

I have already been contacted and will meet with them in about 2 weeks.

Will keep you informed.

If you want on the list i will need your Township, Map #, acreage and deed listing.

There is no comittment on your part at this time.
