China ?

China has owned 1/3 stake in CHK's Eagle Ford since 2010.

Heard some talk earlier today from a reliable source about China making another significant purchase from a domestic (to the U.S.A.) O & G interest / interests (company / companies).

I didn't like hearing it myself.

Anybody have any details along those lines or was / is it rumor ?

I guess I've grown to the point of not having issues with selling some of our country's harvested / recovered / refined hydro-carbon energy to allied / 'vetted' foreign states / interests; but, you can still call me 'old fashioned' in that I still have issues with 'communism' and 'communists' owning our country's hydrocarbon energy SOURCES.

What's up with this ?

One good bit of  news is that International Producers don't know about the100 year tradition of Oil & Gas theft from US Land Owners.

The Shale Play State governments think it's OK since no state officials have filed a Criminal suit against CHK.

If I were gov they would have been out of my state after the first royalty check was sent to one of my Citizens. My Oath Of Office would require that action.
