Thinking of utilizing another piece of property for what ever..

If this is a repeat I apologize ..I thought I posted this info once but don't see it. We have property that could be used by contractors/NG co..or anything to do with drilling in an area that is rapidly growing and promised growth in the next 24mo..Do you all think it would be a good idea to offer it for use and make some dollars? Making dollars is a good thing but I'm not sure how to go about locating the right people.

Robin , I've been thinking of doing the same thing. Not sure who to contact  or where to advertise for this type of thing either, or what would be a fair price to charge for leasing /rental of the land surface. I would like to give anyone in the gas industry the first option and my property is already zoned commercial and would be excellent for storing equipment.

Where I live now is zoned properly..where the extra land is,isn't zoned..I'm thinking of selling my house I'm right on rt..15.  Did you see the points Ann made? Something that didn't cross my mind.

I wouldn't mind either property..I feel in a wee bit of a crunch to make some life decisions.

I found Ann's point. I do have an old lease with a gas company and they want to renew the lease, at least they did as of Dec, 2010 haven't heard back from them. I was told they only wanted to go under the property. No worries about anyone living there as no one is. I would really just like to sell the property and keep the mineral rights. I just don't want to deal with the property anymore. One of those life decisions for me too.

Now is the time to sell and leasing can happen easily..Most companies have info on their web sites if you want to contact them about leasing. If you have road frontage property that is a good thing too.
