Rumors & Tidbits for Guernsey County

Some true,some hearsay...Aubrey is looking for a site to build his regional office with a Cambridge address.  Aep Utica is looking to drill a well behind the General store in Old Washington,early feb.   .AEP is drilling now in Harrison co. Rice will be moving their big rig from Belmont co. to daddy Shugerts well in Old Washington,soon. Bluegrass Pipeline coming thru the county this year. Compressor  station for Antero's well below Senecaville is ready to fire up any day.  Gulfport is sending rigs to Guernsey soon. EQT is wanting to drill 21 new wells in Guernsey this year. Carrizo has 2 pads built,ready to roll. Cheasapeake,all of a  sudden,likes Guernsey,better than Carroll. The company wanting to build an apartment complex at the I-77/Rt.22 site has agreed to help finance a sewer plant needed at that site& Coventry Estates. Motel to be built across from Pilot on the hill almost ready to roll. Some landowners near Quaker City are getting offers of $13,400. per acre to sell their Mineral rights.  Any other tidbits are welcome. You hear things from credible sources that may not even be true,but you be the judge.

Can you provide any additional info on the landowner's meeting?  Who is organizing?  What townships are covered?  Is there a website?  Thanks for any info you can provide.  I have acreage in Millwood township that has been released and am looking for any information that I can get.

You are correct my lease was terminated.  I was with Chesapeake and am now trying to figure out what to do next.  Lance had posted something about a landowner's meeting on Friday but then it disappeared.

There are several co's leasing. Prices not as good as 2010-11 but then oil is 40% of what it was then. You'll find someone bud, or they will find you! Just make sure you get a paid up lease; all the $$$ up front not this 20% of the total every year for 5 years.

Just an FYI. Anyone that was in a landowner group thru KWG&D and ended up with CHK robbing their royalty with deductions etc can join the class action suit filed against CHK by KWG&D.

I drove by Wheeler pad, Oxford twp, looked like most of the equipment gone, anyone heard any rumors about this?

Rig up n running on the Shipman pad. Old Washington,ohio. Small rig, setting in initial pipes. More $$ for the Shugerts!

Yep I seen that... It's just across the I-70from my place. I wonder if they will drill any laterals going North?

all those wells are going s.s.e.  Have to wait on Johnny the gubner to go under I-70.

The tophole rig is gone. Probably cement crews next?. On the Shipman pad. they are setting back  up the sound barrier fence now. getting ready for the BIG rig.

Hi Bo, I'm pretty sure Johnny K. has already given permission to drill under the Interstates but not the State Parks, yet.... I think that happened last year. Check it out...

Lance, wow, someone gets up before me in the morning?That would be great. drilling under Ohio's interstates.It would really open up a lot of peoples minerals for drillers on both sides those highways that was gonna be hard to get to otherwise. But why aren't there anyone doing it?
