I’m bringing this topic over from the shaleforum. Does anyone know the intentions of these guys? As of yesterday they have leased over 10,000 acres(April 2017- present) in Knox county. Some info from shaleforum members include: they are paying $100/acre for all strata and East Ohio Oil and Gas is a shell company for Western Land Services. Any other information is appreciated.

Good Luck Cabot

With the first leases signed April 2017 ( in Knox county anyway)  it will be interesting to see who and if anyone gets renewed.  A few more months and we should start seeing a pattern with renewals.  As far as I know there is no pad activity in Knox?

James.....Good work as always.

Thanks

It’s quite interesting to see the money flow into this area. I read earlier the horizontal rig will arrive this week and a Cabot spokesman said they are paying for it by the day so they want everything lined up to keep it busy. Between the CGT horizontal storage wells and the Cabot wells it looks like they will keep it busy. Should I dare to say the Green Valley is/will be seeing more action than places like Guernsey county?

James

looks like the folks at the Times Gazette are following your posts. Maybe you should start charging them a fee. Lol

Cabot is building a water pumping station on the Black Fork river just east of the compressor station on Rt 39.

Looks like cabot brought the rig back to ashland and is drilling again at their first well. Sounds promising that they found something.

Are they drilling another well off the Kamenik pad or reworking the existing? There is no permit for another well.
