How are the surging natural gas prices affecting drilling this year, and what about going into 2022?  Are the gas companies taking advantage of these higher prices?  What`s next?

Are these wells in PA?  So instead of just throttling back they are shut-down.

Yes and yes.

Is there a site we can go to to see what wells have been shut in?

Department of Enviromental Protection - Oil and Gas Reports

Paleface , any new activity in NW Tioga ?

I heard a rumor Seneca bought the South Western leases there, they need it for pipelines and they got some good wells Painter,Aplanop.

Production once again over 103 BCF/D ... Ouch

Thanks Palefaace

Seneca purchased the mineral rights under the UGI storage fields in Farmington township for Utica drilling.  1868 acres for $ 4,447,320.00

$2,600 an acre , seems like a decent deal for Seneca . Yesterdays Gas Inventory report was slightly bullish .. Investors are waiting for production to fade a bit

Now the people that couldn't be leased because of the storage fields will probably be able.to.

Good point Paleface . The map shows Farmington is more to the west of Tioga .
