Surging Natural Gas Prices

How are the surging natural gas prices affecting drilling this year, and what about going into 2022?  Are the gas companies taking advantage of these higher prices?  What`s next?

What provides for these high numbers?  Is it drilling & completion techniques or the quality of the rock where the Utica gas is found?  How do the EURs compare to the Utica wells found in the western part of PA?  Which wells ie., Marcellus or Utica, have a longer time period before declining?  Does this contribute to which one is drilled?

These are good numbers for Tioga county.Shell drilled wells would start declining after 4 months Seneca pays close attention to the wells once there in production.

Many of us need Diversified Energy to be a viable & strong gas company.  Gas royalties from shallow gas wells is an important income stream for many folks in rural America.

As I have mentioned before I have sat on Board meetings of Carbon Natural Resources in NYC  , which DEC bought out ... 

 Those shallow wells are a tough Business , with all the abandonment charges and pipe maintenance ... Carbon Natural was financially  backed by Folks who knew the Industry in Appalachia and Permian  , I was surprised when they threw in the towel , but they cut their losses and moved on .... 

I truly hope those shallow wells keep supporting folks  in your region , as I am always in the mindset that I want everyone to succeed ....

With the exception of current weather conditions in Western US, will cold & snow become a lessor factor now for natural gas consumption & pricing?  Is more natural gas used for heating or cooling?  Spring isn`t here yet.
