I don't understand the National Metals units either. Last night, I stopped there to look at the Williams sign to look at the well permits. There were 3 wells permitted for National Metals NE, and 5 wells permitted for National Metals SE, all from one pad. I have never heard of a company drilling two units from one well pad before. I don't know how they will do that. If there is a NM NE unit then it would have to be smaller, because there are only 3 wells, plus they already have other units drilled (Slavek) or planned that direction (Frye, McBroom, Skacel).
Carol, any plans you can get from the from the DCNR please email them to me. Ask her if she has the plans for my side of 982 too please. :-)
J. Rossi,
I heard that Range may be buying out all of Williams leases in Derry Township? that would explain the Range Resources billboard going into Latrobe. I wondered why Range would advertise in our area.
The next time you talk to Nick, could you ask him how many months, after a well is put into production, before royalty checks start arriving? I have left messages for other people at Williams and no one has returned my phone call.
All of the wells on one pad are finished and are scheduled to begin fracking next week. They are on the fourth of five on the other pad and the pipeline is done, I think. So, I guess it shouldn't be too too long for royalties.
Are you in a unit yet? I know you said they were looking for a site on Pandora road but I haven't seen any new permits after McBroom and Skacel's units.
Thanks for the information.
Carol,
you can call Nick anytime. (724)288-7722 work cell

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
