Does anyone know the location of the Consol well drilled in November that produced 1.5 million cu ft of gas per day before it was fracked? This was a vertical well and supposedly near Barnesville.

It is on Route 800 between Barnesville and I-70

Which one on this map?

Do you know where exactly it is located? Is it on the coal company land just south of 70? Maybe on Dickinson Cattle Co. land?

Finnbear

yes that is where the well is.

I found yesterday that it is well 20609 on the map above. The landowner is listed as BUCKEYE UIC BARNESVILLE on the lease paperwork which I believe is not Dickinson Cattle because the tax map for that parcel shows CNX Gas Co. as the owner. This land lays west of 800 and mostly on the north side of Twp Rd 165. It is only a 40 acre drilling unit so there must be no plans under this permit to go horizontal. It is all within the 55 acre parcel owned by CNX.
