Don't know about Beaver County, but as of right now in Lawrence Co they are offering peanuts to the people whose old leases are expiring, and not signing on unleased land.

Mike , I would have to say pretty much most of Southern Lawrence Co is already leased to Shell. Don't think much is left unleased here. Just across the County line from me (within 1 mile in Beaver County) is a Chesapeke well drilled last fall and as of yet untested. Just fracked and sitting there. My next door neighbor leased his farm to Shell last fall for the standard (at that time , I guess) 3250/acre. As you probably know , Hilcorp divested alot of Southern Lawrence acreage to Shell earlier this year. How's the Kephart coming? Did they drill any more recently?

I'm thinking Shell's plate may be pretty full right now , thus the lowball offers we have been hearing of lately. They had better get busy drilling or they risk losing alot of leaseholds in the next 2 or 3 years! Hopefully this is just the year for infrastructure planning and next year thing will bust open.

Don't forget , June 30 is the cracker decision deadline. Pray for good news!

Glenn

Nothing new @ Kephart that I know, Shell has been getting ROW between Kephart and Patterson, I have a friend with 70 + acre in Darlington Twp Beaver County not leased, just trying to look out after him.

As far as I know chk is the only game over that way.

They tell  me that  Shell now has some of the  land flipped some leases Ecco Valley road Hilcorp leases I talked to them @ Schweikert greenhouse

Hilcorp has flipped their leases near me to Shell. 400 acres bordering my northeast line owned by the fireworks company and some of Yost farm which borders my north and west. They must be getting closer to expanding their drilling as they are filling out alot of contiguous properties. Wish they weren't so closed mouthed about it. Probably 1/3 to 1/2 of my neighbor's farm lies in Beaver County and he leased to Shell last fall. Heading west , towards Petersburg , I believe Whelans and Feezles are leased with Shell also. Pretty much the whole southern edge of Lawrence is Shell , I think. Wonder if they will start picking up some Chesapeke leases in Northern Beaver County? I hope your buddy in Darlington Twp. can get hooked up with anybody but chk. Who knows , Shell may end up buying them out! lol!

Do you know if the other 2 Patterson wells are hooked to the pipeline yet? If not , I'm thinking they are too wet to......?

Glenn

There are 2 wells NOT hooked-up to pipe line, and 2 hooked-up.

Glenn,  that is great advice but until the landowners allow the pipeline to move forward there is no sense in drilling other than to hold leases, the infrastructure is most important at this time.  no pipe, no pay

Mark west has 3350' row thru my property. Hopefully that will help me and some of my neighbors. I hope!

I see Shell is still recording new leases in Lawrence County.

Seems to be an increased interest in Perry Twp. Also Wayne , Shenango , Scott , and Slippery Rock twps.

Row agreements also in various twps. being recorded somewhat regularly.

What is Shell paying for leases these days?

Looks like Shell has pulled another permit for the Patterson well..
