Since no one has replied, what do you know?  I have land in Ritchie, but I have not been there in 10+ years. I see on the drilling maps that there has been some activity, but nobody seems to be talking.   Chesapeake contacted me in 2008-9, but has ignored me since they ran out of money then.  Have there been any new wells?  B

EQT has talked with us several times / you are correct / not much activity on the wv site / much more traffic and good information on pa site and ohio / check pa and name of jack straw / he seems to be extreamly knowledgeable....where is your land in ritchie?

Yes. Terminally negative.

Drilling and/or fracking under populated areas, like Pennsboro City Limits

(where the residents have EXPRESSLY forbidden it since 2004 by a City Ordinance,)

or farmland, is unacceptable and intolerable.

The very nickname "Energy  Independence" is a factual lie.

Since ALL "our" ("Dwindling") Energy products, no matter where produced, are offered on the global exchange, they are priced and sold to the highest bidder in the world, and so usually sold to non-American interests. In fact the little that goes to America is priced the highest it possibly could be (if shipped somewhere else.)

So, the American consumer LOSES by increasing production.

To claim America wins because the few speculators and large Energy corps like Chesapeake and Exxon are American, is such an exaggeration, it (like the promise of royalties) is a lie for over 99% of the people.

This is also proven by monthly energy bills in West Virginia, where much of it is produced.

Our monthly bills (gas, electricity) on average have ALL TRIPLED in the past six years.
