- We have owned property in Bradford County for 30+ years.
Three? years ago a neighbor offered to buy our land for $1K per acre. When I hesitated, he became "angry" at his generous offer. So I began an internet search. We used Tom Brecher in Towanda as an agent, thanks to Jim Pruyne, our attorney. Tom got us a very nice deal with CHK. The property across the road has a vertical HBP well. So someday.... Meanwhile I am taking a tremendous interest in shale drilling all over the USA, North Dakota, etc because of the economic development. I'm very interested in the GE LM2500 family of gas turbine generators; give GE your AMEX and they will drive up and connect you. Very interested in methanol plants ...www.energyvictory.net and www.methanol.com for use in Flex Fuel cars ... The governor should sign an executive order requiring all cars sold in Pennsylvania to be Flex Fuel compatible ... $100 for the equipment and the industry will provide the methanol ...it is "half" the cost of gasoline ... and no corn involved. We can work out way out of this economic mess and we can do it quickly. IF the wrecking crew in the WH is voted out and, in the meanwhile, if the HofR will quit getting wobbly. But the governors of the "shale states" can take the lead in the meanwhile. [BTW, for the debt "crisis": the Feds collect $5Billion per day. Out of that there is plenty of money to pay interest $1B, SS $1B and Medicare $1B per day with the military funded up at 5% of GDP.]
Anyway, Marcellus and the other shales are the way to go.
