- I signed a lease with a group of connecting neighbors all with the same claim of 20+ year abandonment. Instead of waiting for a court’s decision we agreed on a percentage as land owners with the mineral owners and something has fell through for all parties, but myself thus far. I am searching for information as to why our attorney filling the newspaper notice and receiving the affidavits with no records of the mineral owner protecting his rights for over 20+ years and the unanimous agreement on a percentage shared did not work for all parties. I do not know as of yet if I personally was accepted or not, but the next few days will tell. Information, reasons, and where to go from here are all questions I am looking to have answered.

New to all this. I have land leased by CHK in cross creek township. Not drilling yet and no division orders yet. I just want to stay informed when this happens and not be ripped off by CHK. Need all the advise I can get.
