  We joke that our dollar is so high because it is a Petro dollar. It really is true as we expect to double oil sands oil output by double by 2020. There is lots of conventional oil too as slightly more than half of the Bakken Basin oil field is in Canada, under Manitoba and Saskatchewan provinces. The Bakken oil is rated at 43 degree API, which is very very light and gets the highest price. The Three Forks field is underneath the Bakken oil field and it also has better than average quality oil.

  By the way, all the oil companies in North Dakota got together and decided to run an oil pipeline north 90 miles to Canada so it can hook into the west to east oil pipeline in Canada. That way the oil bypasses all the political BS in Washington and it can be laid in just a few months. Gee, sounds like Canada is creating more oil patch jobs than Obama....LOL
