- My dad is giving my wife and I land to build a house on to raise our 3 children and go to the school I graduated from. I am concerned that the land he leased, that we are building on will eventually have the water well become contaminated. I fear my children will get sick from all the chemicals and toxins pumped into the earth. That wouldn't be good for the fracking companies or people setting up wells in our area, that's all I have to say about that. So, we are trying to decide to build or to move where there is no fracking in another state. I don't want my family to end up sick like those that are in Fayette County.
