I had the same problem when I set up Athens Co.  The way its worded is backward, it seems to me.

The biggest signed deals that I'm aware of were for $2,500/acre, but nobody has actually received a check yet (to my knowledge) and the oil company (Cunningham Energy) only has until 3/31/12 to find a financial backer and pay or else the leases are null and void.  I've heard rumors of $3,000+ in Athens Co.  The Wolf Creek Landowner Association in southern Morgan Co (the bottom edge of the group is only about 4 miles from where I live) is currently negotiating a contract for what I've heard is $4,000+.  It is getting very interesting!!
