- 10 days ago, landman from Tri-Star Energy LLC, Parkersburg WV contacted me for a lease on my 154 acres in Nottingham Twp, Harrison Cty. He claims that Tri-Star is working for Enervest Energy Partners. He revealed little knowledge of the Marcellus formation, horizontal drilling or any technical aspects of the current Marcellus play. The lease agreement offered $500/acre for 5 yr lease. He was anxious to sign me up the same day when he presented the lease. I have since had an attorney review the lease with comments.

I am putting together landowners in that region to help with the marketing of the ROW, base price is $1.00 per foot times the diameter of the pipe x the number of pipelines....their should be a totally seperate agreement for the ROW, my company has successfully worked deals in both the marcellus and the utica plays, stick together and get your due.
