Crazy money being promised?

I attended a meeting where an attorney is offering $3200 an acre and then 50% of what ever they sell the lease for. He is also offering finders fee's on the "sly" to people that bring others in. He is trying to lease up land in Independence and Raccoon Townships using pressure tactics saying there was a pending deadline.
