changing a producing well

A well on the western edge of the wet gas window had been producing for 8 months already when we watched them install a big tall skinny tank looking to be a separator.  This well is tied into an existing 4" gas line that all the clinton wells in the area tie into. My question is how could chesapeake produce this point pleasant well for 8 months without a separator and can a line built to service clinton wells handle the gas from this deep well?See More

" Idon't think that is a internal leak from the pipe you would see oil all over the surface it looks like a shallow methane pocket that is following the pipe to the surface."
