- was just approached to sign a new lease with chesapeake exploration for my 3 acres.I need more info.our original lease was done in 1964 with the previous owners for 1/8 of royalties. they are offering the same 1/8 royalties with all the other acres (unit) does this seem right to you?( 160 acres are in this unit.
