Mitt Romney believes that is a decision for Michiganders. Rather than pursue a one-size-fits-all federal regulatory approach to energy development as President Obama has done, he will empower the states to develop, adopt and enforce regulations and review processes based on the unique geology, ecology and concerns of each state and its citizens. From oil and gas to wind and solar development, local regulators are best positioned to understand and thoughtfully address their own unique considerations.
