I recently hosted a staffer from Senator Portman’s office ( he is the new Ohio Senator that sits on the Senate Energy Committee) at our plant and the information that I was able to find while perusing your newsletter was invaluable when talking intelligently about the huge oil and gas opportunities here in Ohio. The links that other readers have posted were very beneficial especially as relates the potential temporary suspension of Hydraulic Fracturing by the US EPA until they do a more thorough review of this already established drilling process.

I just started coming to this site a few weeks ago but it has been very helpful. I have learned a lot about what is going on in other counties, what different groups are doing, and what various offers are being made.  I have also learned more about leases, various issues to be concerned with,  and how to deal with gas companies. Many of the commentors are very informed and the discussions have been helpful.  And some of discussions on political issues have been very good. Thanks for all the work in maintaining this site.
