I have just been pooled into a drilling unit with Cabot and have been told they do not want to test our well because our property is more that 2500 feet from the pad site.
Does anyone have any suggestions , I still think they should test the well ,because they have done all my neighbors that are in the unit.

Either way I would have the water tested by an accredited laboratory, it will definitely not hurt to have a benchmark just in case you see problems in the future. CHK has requested access to property we own for testing and our legal counsel recommended we have the water tested at our own cost by a 3rd party as well. Water is a delicate a resource and vital for our lives . . . . do everything you can to ensure yours is protected.
