Met with a few people today with Des.  I'm not going in details on here, but i stongly encourage anyone that is unsigned to go to his meetings this week.  The first is at Union Local Tuesday night.  Personally, I don't care who brings the contract to the table or how much this person will make off of any agreement, as long as the lease is there for all of us to maximize our opportunity to capatilize on this gold mine.

Tom ,no cruelty intended in my answer , and no as a matter of fact I did not because of other possibilities now .

,I had just read the document I had picked up over there and it had no place written where the landowner is obligated to pay them a commission if you failed to sign the deal in the end .

I noticed a lot of these group have included a clause where they still get money if a person signs with another company that was involved as a possible lessee in the entire process where the group leader had spoken to them . This type deal could even include companies that had no way to complete a deal with that large of a group but could make smaller acquisitions of less acre groups .

These type groups really take care of themselves if someone disagrees with their choice of lessee's and they C.T.A.to make sure they get a cut now or later.

I am still on hold for now

I agree not leased .

LOL

Unleased what I heard from Des was that Antero made asses of them selves coming down here giveing gary Ruble a million dollar seed money for his shallow leases & he sold them to anoter Co. at the same time I assume he meant antero & xto bought the same acreage on a lot of worthless leases?

he also said that once he closes his deal XTO will be siiting with little bits of acreage surrounded by his co. that they will never be able do anything with them, thats what I heard,

hello not leased ,are you in Monroe ,

also  Do you know if Chevron has much property yet in the Utica , and  I saw you had posted there was supposed to be a deal for $5900 who was that with if you can say .

I am not sure what to believe lately I heard they had a group signed for $5800 and 20% back in December with a mix of counties and that was the highest bonus offer with a fairly decent lease I was told about

I and some other neighbors have had  a DPS penn guy that leases for chesapeake and he has told some $5000 and 20% but with the company lease , then I heard that he has also offered $5500 and 20% but same old lease to others but mainly in Belmont County warren and other townships  townships

A friend of mine in Guernsey signed with a group that got him $5000 and that was with shell . They seem to have a  lot of property in Guernsey but I don't know if shell has  got much of the wet gas area yet .

I sorta gather your group must have had 2 or 3 suposed deals and they fell through with various problems so far and now according to that meeting at Union Local another is supposed to be in the works with the unnamed company.

Im still waiting for some info with our group of S-G in hopes that these companies have gotten their ducks in a row with what they want  to do to make things happen

You would have thought when Chesapeake sold their acres for $15k the property values would have gone up but without many wells with reports in ,nothing has changed .

It seems as if the activity has slowed down a bit so far .

Buy hopefully everything will turn out good in the end .

Hello again not leased , I was asking because of what I was told by a friend who has been  a member with that group for about a year and has tried to add me with them .

Chevron is in the ball park of matching the described unknown party .and after my question to you I did some research and found  that Chevron did purchase atlas energy and has several thousand acres in utica now and they own a pipeline company that went with the deal as well .

I agree until you see an actual contract with a companies name no deal is done

I would be pi**ed if I was presented with supposed deals with no solid documentation as well

This site has slowed down so much it appears that the majority must have gotten leased or are waiting for their money .

Best of luck to you

Have any one here anything from Des since he had a meeting monday at least that what he told us at the meeting he had last week

Yea, but I guess I will not post anything on here!!!!

Since you have an inside track, an update from Des would be appreciated.

Why are you here?

Finnbear - Sent you a message in your inbox.  Wanted to get your thoughts on the S-G happenings.  I assume you were at the meeting the other night.
