Has anyone gotten any leasing offers or lease extensions on previous leases in Belmont County that were originally created by the land groups . Please share any leasing terms and bonus offers which have been accepted which may help guide others that have not had their leases extended yet . With any luck it would stand to reason when and if  the Cracker Plant  construction decision is finally announced this  should bring back competitive leasing offers that were being offered between 2012…See More

Thanks for the help.  I only have about 2 acres on CR100 in Warren Twp but from what I have read in the last couple days, Smith-goshen group seeems to be a very repsonsbile group looking out for the landowner.  Any assistance you could provide would be very much appreciated.

I have my parcel number, but I know the group is very busy and I haven't seen any meetings since about November.

Mickgyver,

Wow, that is a long read.....but, you shared alot of really good information. Good Stuff, thanks for your input and I hope group members will listen to your thoughts on the subject matter covering alot of areas when needing the facts in whether to lease or not and holding the fort down, even when others are running out the gate. It is harder to hold together and hold the fort when the almighty buck is working its way into the what ifs or what should I do? We are still along way off from the top pricing, but that really isn't the key here; it is what is good for you and what is good overall for the group. Common sense goes along way during these times and should be thought out before anyone jumps ship. Keep on, keeping on is the best plan....just "Hold the Fort".
