I'm pretty surprised but also 90% sure that a well near me in Perry Township, Carroll County, is being fracked immediately after drilling.   The drilling rig was taken down on Tuesday and moved to another sight near us on Tuesday.

I know there are several wells waiting to be fracked that were drilled quite a while ago.  However, there is a lot of traffic and a steady grinding whinning noise coming from the well sight.

Any ideas?

There were lots and lots of water trucks over the weekend.  Day and night.   Can the water be stored?

You know.........this is interesting.

Sounds like prep for a frac job to me! Water can be stored in pits or 20,000 gal steel frac tanks, but as the weather warms up the risk for bacterial contamination (souring) increases, which can lead to multiple complications during and after the frac job

I really like that web sight but as you said Drill baby Drill it is behind.   It posted the Scott well as being laterally drilled as the rig was being torn down.   I will see if I can get close enough to read the board but last time my hubby and I "cruised" by  we were treated as if "talking to the natives" was not cool.   ;).
