I'm glad the word is finally getting out to the masses (&politicians) re:propane fracking.  This has been brought up periodiacally in 4-County Leasing Group meetings for over a year.  The promising possibilities it brings to our Group (which straddles the PA/NY line) have not gone unnoticed.  This is technology that wasn't born yesterday, and it has been a puzzle why NY didn't consider it earlier.

The initial expense of using propane gel to frack IS higher than water laced w/fracking chemicals, BUT the ultimate pay-out is higher!  More gas and oil rise to the surface for marketing than when water is used.  There's no brine to deal with as the propane returns to its gaseous state ... anyone use propane to heat or cook with?  I think so!

I'm sure this will be a major topic @ the 4-County meetings on APR. 4th in Smethport, PA.  6:30 @ the Amer. Legion ...  also APR. 5th in Little Valley, NY.  6:30 @ the Amer. Legion.   The latter is in the heart of NY's Southern Tier, an area rich in natural gas and oil development since the 1800's, and like the rest of NY ... heavily taxed.  It's about time these folks catch a break!

FYI: Even the leftovers of the food processing industry have been used to frack with in some areas.  Anyone looking into that?
