Hmmmm, I will ask you this since your clearly the smarts person here, well except for finnbear of course. Can you explain drilling inventory and rig numbers and how that effects my chances of being drilled? Let see 100's million of acreas and last time I saw under 2000 rigs in the country. Hmmmmm chances are slimmmmmmmmm as the Browns winning the Superbowl this year.
Land Area:
County Seat:St. Clairsville City
square miles 537.3
537 sq.miles X 640 acres(640 acres equals a square mile)=343,680 acres in Belmont County. Some leases call for well units to be 640 acres some 1,280acres...so we will say average unit 960 acres.....safe estimate 200,000 acres are leased in Belmont.. if all are drilled or made part of a unit that is only 21 wells a year in the next 10 years....A rig is only used at a site for roughly 2 weeks.....and more rigs are being built everyday.....Sell your royalties if you want, I hope it works out for you.....People don't gamble at $7,000 per acre for royalties....They know it will be drilled......The fact that you are trying so hard to convince people it won't be drilled is as fake as professional wrestling....It doesn't take the smartest person on here to figure that out.....Your ignorance is shocking!!!!!!
I dont know who you think you are talking to. First of all, I know what I know. I was offered $7000.00 a acre for my royalties and I was thinking about it. In the mean time, like I said the ODNR released their report on April 2nd. I was contacted by April 3rd and was told Nantucket Resources, was no longer interested because of the report. You need to calm down. Its not your money, give your opinion and then shut up.
I never made reference to you, who i was speaking to i mentioned by name.....If you are new to this blogging thing people never shut-up...lol... You are 100% right it is not my money and what you said on here seems to be based in fact....you said you had an offer withdrawn....fine....but there are people on here trying to convince people to sell because" You probably won't be drilled anyway" which is nowhere near accurate.... In the long run my OPINION is you will be glad you didn't take the money fom Nantucket Resources....Good Luck
yOU SAY PEOPLE COME ON HERE UNEDUCATED....SEEMS YOU ARE THE DUNCE.....WHAO ARE YOU TO GIVE ADVICE....YOU MENTION 50 DIFFERENT COMPANIES FIGHTING FOR UNITS........HERE IS A CHALLENGE FOR YOU BIG MOUTH NAME JUST 10 OF THOSE COMPANIES IN BELMONT COUNTY AND I WILL APOLOGIZE AND SAY I WAS WRONG.....NOT LAND COMPANIES BUYING LEASES ACTUAL DRILLING COMPANIES IN BELMONT.....YOU CAN'T EVEN NAME FIVE....NOT SUBS DOING THE DRILLING.....MAJOR CORPS WHO OWN THE WELLS AND PUT THE UNITS TOGETHER.....GOOD LUCKK!!!!!!!! YOUR SCARE TACTICS ARE A DEAD GIVE AWAY, AGAIN GO TO BED AND DREAM UP SOME MORE LIES!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey the Browns had a decent draft. Hmmm, where did you hear that $3,200 was the highest price paid in the Marcellus? They reached the $5k and higher mark for sure in Bradford Co.
It's a helluva risk leasing at $5k let alone if someone wants to buy minerals and bet that someone else will drill it, especially if they are only buying the royalty during the term of the lease.
TELL THE WHOLE STORY SHOCKED...IT IS NO SECRET THAT DRILLING HAS STOPPED IN THE DRY GAS AREA SINCE JAN. WHEN ALL O & G COMPANIES SAID THE COUNTRY HAS A GLUT OF NATURAL GAS. WHAT YOU FORGET TO MENTION IN THOSE SAME ARTICLES DATED 1/24/2012 IS THAT THE PRICE OF BUTANES AND PROPANES HAS NOT DIMINISHED....THESE GASES ARE FOUND IN THE CONDENSATE OR WET GAS...WHICH IS WHAT IS UNDER BELMONT, GUERNSEY, HARRISON COUNTIES. THESE SAME ARTICLES MENTION BY NAME THE UTICA SHALE PLAY AND HOW COMPANIES WILL CONTINUE TO EXPAND AND DRILL HERE FOR THE AFOREMENTIONED REASONS.....AGAIN YOU AND MARCUS CAN NOT USE SCARE TACTICS.....WE ARE IN A GREAT PLACE IN THE PLAY NO MATTER HOW HARD YOU TRY YOU CANNOT OVERCOME THE FACTS.....BIGGEST FACT OF ALL: COMPANIES ARE BUYING AND PRICE IS STILL GOING UP.....THIS IS BECOMING WAY TO EASY TO REBUKE YOUR NAZI STYLE PROPAGANDA....CALL IT A NIGHT ....GO TO BED AND DREAM UP SOME MORE LIES.........NIGHTY, NIITE

"Also, even as drillers avoid dry-gas regions, they are aggressively increasing drilling in regions rich in oil and other liquids. Those regions also produce large amounts of natural gas, which will help keep total natural gas production high and will likely keep prices relatively low." This is the final paragraph from the article .....see link above!!!!!
Being in the wet gas area we have oil and all the other liquids they are still actively seeking!!!
The following links are maps show how we are in the wet gas area...again more hard cold facts!!!!

You have tried your best to tell people what they have isn't really worth having.....sell your futures now.....Some of us won't let you make false and misleading statements on here.....WE WILL PROOVE YOU WRONG.....LIKE WE JUST HAVE.......THESE SITES ARE TO HELP PEOPLE NOT HURT THEM......STOP TRYING TO HURT PEOPLE...............
Maybe it's you who is uneducated!!!!! Maybe it's your ignorance we should be shocked at!!!!!!!!
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
