Met with a few people today with Des.  I'm not going in details on here, but i stongly encourage anyone that is unsigned to go to his meetings this week.  The first is at Union Local Tuesday night.  Personally, I don't care who brings the contract to the table or how much this person will make off of any agreement, as long as the lease is there for all of us to maximize our opportunity to capatilize on this gold mine.

I wonder who will be paying for all the title work.

I wondered the same thing.  Maybe he is working with a venture capitialist who will buy property that has been through a successful title search.  If he has a deal like that, his attorneys might do the work and would be paid out of his commission.  Just a guess, but it fits with his past emails.

I was there and you not to  far off .This was a tempt to lock us in to a financial comment whether we get a deal or not .

All that would have had to happen is to have kept the group informed and in the loop and this group would have still been strong  , BUT NO !

I work in a sales and service field and keeping in touch with your client - customers is NUMBER ONE ....

I'm not committing to squat .

If he does come up with a deal and I'm not leased yet we can talk .

I give the same answer to all others that has tried to tie my farms up .

No tickty no washey .

Cobra , I just found your friend request from a long time ago , I never saw it until now . I emailed you back let me know if you received .Thanks

That's fine Cobra I understand . I was just replying to a email that you sent me a few months ago with a request .

I had you all wrong before and I apreciate your work .

Keep it up !

How does this Des guy have the gall to even show his face at a Belmont County or Monroe County meeting?  He has strung the landowners along for so long and there has never been a single, bonafide deal!  The landowners at his meeting should take him to the woodshed, because Belmont and Monroe Counties have missed the sweetspot for a deal.

lol on the woodshed comment .

I think mr. hot  dog see's a chance to recoup some of his invest .

$800/day for a title abstractor?  That's an absolute crock of shit.  Sounds like someone is getting rich and landowners are getting screwed.

With all this talk about cost which is ridiculous amounts, the biggest thing which he wont tell us is who is doing the searches and why?

I spoke to an Executive at an oil company who said they would never accept a title search controlled by the landman that gets a commission for all cleared title, They would still run their own title and would not pay for the landmans title, So who pays for it then? The Landowners who are Naieve enough to have signed an agreement to pay whether they get a lease or not!

I agree with you Tom, just cant understand why all those people voted to go this route.  No guarentees for a deal and no set time to get one.  Im really surprise that someone hasnt suggested that the group give Des  a deadline to get a deal.  A good deal not just any deal or hes out.  Theres still alot of good groups  out there like the Laings group that people can go with without being locked in.  Des hasnt done anything for over a year.  Why should we give him more time yet.

Bill, was you at the last meeting at Swiss Hills on Thursday.
