Quebec Energy Pulling out of Ashland County, Landowners wanting to much money for their land in an undeveloped area. What are your thoughts about it?

Landowners want to much money for an undeveloped area and companies have pulled out....  Landowners that waited wont be seeing what they wanted now.....

Undeveloped meaning that there are no horizontal wells dug that would make the area a developed play. This is all wildcat area meaning that it is not tested or proven, a gamble...

I'm confused why they would prefer developed land? Isn't vacant land much better? I have a friend that just $75,000.00 check back and and in return 6 wks. later rec'd a 120,000.00 check..they waited with attorney at their side.
