Has anyone sold property in or near Bradford County recently? I own 50 acres, 40 on one side of the road where a well is supposed to go. The other 10 acres has an 8 bedroom house and large barn, both in disrepair. Not sure if it is best to sell with or without gas rights or to fix up and rent the house. We are in the Friendsville group agreement with Talisman. I live out of state.

Chad,

We have multiple parcels that we will sell without rights.  30 acres in Bentley Creek with fields, horse barn small spring and some trees,  40 acres in Milan with more woods, an abandon house and a garage and 27 acres with a nice house, rental apartment and a 7 acre lake.  All are good for hunting.  No subdividing except for the 27 acres.  Let me know if you are interested.

You can see them on Realtor.com

Mark, I assume you are just down from Davis road on the LeRaysville property. 40 years ago we swam and fished there as kids. How much for the lake without rights?

Yep, that's the one.  $235k for the house, 2 garages, gazebo and 21 acres which includes the lake. $129k for the barn which has an apartment, garage, 6 acres with lake rights.  We would accept a reasonable offer for both properties as a whole.

Mark, thanks!

Please remind me of who owned it back then? I remember that they were very nice people. Cook's ?

Personally, I found an article that may be able to help land owners who have questions regarding selling land to the gas companies. It is a simple top ten that may be able to help several people make decisions regarding this difficult decision. If you feel like giving it a read, here is the article. http://shalestuff.com/education/land-owners-info/top-1/
