We signed with Gulfport in October and were paid at the end of Feb. I wouldn't expect payment for at least 120 days from signing. That seems to be the norm.

Does anyone have a good contact number for Gulfport I am being Stiffed by Shell and would like to sign with a different company.

Zack

I looked in all the papers they gave us at signing, No phone number. Try and get on their website and email them. Somebody will get it to the correct party.

They did tell me if I knew anybody who has land and wanted to sign have them get a hold of Gulfport.

That was back in April but I'm sure they are still looking for land. They are dumping major dollars into Guernsey and plan on drilling there..

You could try one of these..

Gofrac is currently fracking the antrim well. I think they are hauling all the water in by big containers instead of piping it. takes 2/3 weeks. they want to let it set for 60 days after that before putting it into production. hopefully the pipeline will be in by then. looks like those in the production unit wiill be getting a royalty check by xmas?  A gulfport rep. said that they plan on drilling 90 wells in guernsey co. so they will need to be leasing more land. If they drill 6 wells on 1280 unit pads ,they will need 15 units,or 19,000 acres m/l.    Let's hope it's a big producer. the bonus checks will be going up. landowners will have more leverage.

Last week when out and about on a drive, I saw 3 Huge Diesel Generator Pumpers in a couple ponds less than two miles from the Antrim well. They  had large approx 24" pipe running out through the fields.  One pump looked to be set up to pump water from a larger pond into a smaller pond. Then two pumps in the smaller pond where pumping to somewhere else. Not sure where they went, the pipes shot across the field in the direction of the Antrim well. So I suspect they are for the wells. If they do run to the wells the pipes would have to cross under 2 secondary dirt roads in order to get there. It would make sense because these are the largest ponds closest to that well, and they are also remote with no homes nearby to hear the monster pumpers.

Checked it out. Those are ponds belonging to Kimble. on red hill farms.  the pipe is running to the gulfport well. runs under the bridges on anderson rd. The xmas tree they are setting is HUGE. must be for fracking.

I spoke with a Gulfport rep last week who stated they weren't seeking any new leases in Guernsey County and if they did it would be at a reduced rate.  He said probably around $2,000 acre.  I know the money is just an added bonus and what you really want it a company that is going to drill but really.... that seems crazy.

Doesnt seem crazy if you were an early signer ;-)

Prices will be at a lull till the oil companies get their infrastructure (pipelines etc.) in operation. Makes no sense to buy up more leases if they haven't started making money on what they all ready have. Once they start making money,if production is good, they'll start leasing again, maybe at higher prices. After all, like every business, they are in it to make money,if they can snag a few leases in the mean time at low money, they are happy.

We are having issues with Shell also. Talked to them yesterday and now saying my title isn't clear when 5 surrounding around me are that included the same exact farm. Ridiculous!!! Not sure if I have any leg to stand on with any attorney to help me out but willing to sign with Gulfport or any other if they are leasing. Anyone know if they are or any others are?
